Help Center / FAQ

Practical launch guidance for posting tasks, handling offers, payments, and trust concerns.

Getting Started

How do I post a task?

Open Post a Task, add a clear title, describe the work, pick your category, set a budget, and publish.

Who can send offers?

Any eligible seller on Giggly can send an offer on open tasks.

Can I edit my task after posting?

Yes, as long as your current task state allows edits under the existing marketplace flow.

Do I need to verify my account before using Giggly?

You can browse and start using core features, but some trust and payout actions can depend on verification status.

Offers, Chat, and Task Flow

Can I message before accepting an offer?

Yes. Use in-platform chat to clarify scope, timing, and logistics before accepting.

What happens when I accept an offer?

Acceptance follows the existing payment flow and task state transitions already configured in the platform.

Can I accept more than one offer on the same task?

No, each task follows a single accepted-offer path in the current marketplace lifecycle.

Where can I see my ongoing and completed work?

Use your profile/task tabs to track active, completed, and historical task activity.

Payments and Escrow

How are payments processed?

Payments run through Giggly's Stripe-backed flow. Funds are handled according to the current escrow-style lifecycle.

When are sellers paid out?

Payout timing follows the platform's completion and release rules. Check Payments & Escrow for the high-level policy.

Can I pay outside the platform?

No. Off-platform payments reduce protections and can violate platform rules.

What should I do if a payment looks wrong?

Submit a report from Report a Problem with the task reference and any relevant timestamps.

Safety and Trust

How do I report unsafe behavior?

Use Report a Problem immediately and include as much detail as possible so admins can review quickly.

Can I report another user directly from their profile?

Yes, use the in-app report action when available for user misconduct.

What types of tasks are not allowed?

Illegal, dangerous, deceptive, or abusive requests are not allowed under Platform Rules.

How can I reduce risk before meeting in person?

Keep communication in-platform, confirm details in writing, and follow Trust & Safety guidance before work starts.

Account and Policy

How do I update my profile?

Open Settings/Profile to edit your public details, skills, and availability.

Can I request my personal data?

Yes. Visit GDPR Data Request and follow the request instructions shown there.

Where can I read legal terms and privacy details?

See the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Cookie Policy pages linked in the footer.

I still need help. What should I do?

Use Report a Problem with a clear title and context so the support/admin team can review.
